We are excited to announce an upcoming new member course for all individuals interested in becoming official members of Linfield UCC’s church family. This welcoming course will include a brief introductory meeting and four engaging classes. We will start with the basics, focusing on getting to know one another and exploring the rich history of our church. Following this we will dive into the fundamentals of the Bible, offering a refreshing take on lessons often taught in children’s Sunday school and Confirmation. In the next session, we will discuss the significance and purpose of church membership, helping you understand the “why” behind your commitment. Finally, we will wrap up with a session dedicated to answering any remaining questions and scheduling a date to celebrate our new members during a Sunday worship service. Becoming a member offers a deeper connection with our community and an opportunity to grow in faith together. We hope to begin the course in September or October, depending on the availability of interested individuals.
